Job Summary
This dual-capacity role combines the Field Marketer and Personnel Specialist positions. Our home care company specializes in providing comprehensive and compassionate home care services through the applicable Medicaid Waiver programs, and we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals in need by delivering exceptional care within the comfort of their own homes. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing outreach strategies to attract new clients and strengthen relationships with referral sources, while also playing a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless transition for clients and caregivers into our programs, enabling them to receive the care they require.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions

A. Field Marketing Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote home health services to referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, and senior living communities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key referral sources, including physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and community organizations.
- Conduct presentations and educational seminars to increase awareness of our home health services and the benefits of home care.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential referral sources to expand the company's network.
- Average 25 touch points a week (25 different locations).
- Build a tracking document for all visits (Location, Rating, POC, Address, Notes).
- Establish a budget for the different categories (daily visits, co-shared events, and events we host).
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with company goals and objectives.
- Track and report on marketing activities, leads, and outcomes to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and community functions to represent the company and network with potential clients and partners.
- Travel to new operating states to build and foster new relationships with relevant parties.
- Provide feedback and insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategies.
B. Personnel Specialist Responsibilities
- Recruiting: Schedule and oversee orientations for all incoming employees to ensure that all regulatory and company-required items have been obtained.
- Communication and Collaboration: Oversee collaboration between company leadership, intake agents, and employees for expirations, initiatives, and new hire plans.
- Relationships: Create and maintain positive relationships with current caregivers, employees, and office staff.
- Reporting: Attend meetings and collaborate with the Operations Manager on recruiting and compliance metrics such as expirations, evaluations, in-services, and new hire requirements.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of caregiver/client documentation within designated systems.
- Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated on program guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance during the hiring process.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of roles within the office.
- Training: Understand, attend, and participate in all training, SOPs, and other learning activities that arise.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, nursing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in healthcare, marketing/outreach, recruiting, or HR is preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Medicaid Waiver programs and their eligibility criteria is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, referral sources, and internal teams.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to accurately collect and record client, caregiver, and employee information.
- Empathy and Compassion: Demonstrate the ability to empathize with clients and caregivers while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously across marketing and personnel functions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess caregiver and client needs and triage them if needed.
- Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and MS Office suite. Willingness and ability to use mobile applications.
- Ethical Standards: Maintain a high level of integrity, adhering to ethical standards and HIPAA confidentiality guidelines.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
