Job Summary
The Lab Worldwide is seeking a hands-on Electrical Test Engineer to perform functional and parametric testing of electronic components and circuit boards. This engineer will develop and set up non-recurring engineering projects, configure laboratory equipment, create device-specific test methods, and support production personnel during test execution.
The position combines bench-level electrical engineering, test development, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and production support. The ideal candidate can interpret component datasheets, identify applicable electrical parameters, design practical test setups, and convert customer requirements into repeatable work instructions and test procedures.
The engineer will work with analog, digital, mixed-signal, programmable, passive, and electromechanical devices while supporting testing performed in accordance with customer specifications and applicable industry standards. The responsibilities align with the hands-on functional-testing and NRE role described in the employment memorandum and the broader Electrical Test Engineer duties in the job description.
A successful Electrical Test Engineer will be able to take a new component or circuit-board requirement from datasheet review through completed testing. This includes selecting the proper equipment, determining safe test conditions, developing the fixture or socket setup, documenting the procedure, training operators, troubleshooting failures, reviewing the resulting data, and supporting a technically accurate final report.
Join us as we innovate at the intersection of electrical engineering excellence! Your expertise will help shape future-ready solutions that power industries worldwide while advancing your career in a vibrant environment dedicated to growth and innovation.
