Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing support to enhance the quality of life for our clients and their families.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Assist clients in developing skills related to daily living activities (ADLs) and promote independence.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote social skills, communication, and behavioral health.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce strategies at home and ensure consistency in care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with data collection methods related to behavioral health interventions.
- Background in special education or patient care is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks.
