Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and reliable Shipping Manager to oversee our daily shipping operations. You will be responsible for managing a team, coordinating with customer service, and ensuring all outgoing shipments are accurate, safely packed and loaded.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of supply chain logistics, and a sharp eye for detail.
Duties
- Supervise Operations: Oversee daily warehouse shipping activities, including pulling, bagging, labeling, and staging orders.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and manage shipping personnel, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
- Inventory & Documentation: Verify shipment accuracy against invoices, maintain detailed shipping logs, and manage shipping supply inventory.
- Quality Control: Inspect outgoing packages to ensure compliance with shipping standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Shipping Manager, Supervisor, or similar warehouse logistics role.
- Solid knowledge of shipping procedures, carrier options, and logistics best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy packages (e.g., up to 60 lbs).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Leadership and shipping experience is a plus
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
