Job Description: Perform sample preparation and related QC requirements. Complete instrumental analysis and other related duties to test environmental samples as required by the client and department supervisor.
We are looking for candidates in the Hampton Roads area with the following qualifications:
BS in Chemistry or related field preferred.
1+ years of analytical experience in the environmental field is preferable .
Knowledge of EPA Testing Methods.
Experience: ICP, ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, Mercury Analyzer and wet chemistry.
Possess good computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
Ability to apply technical knowledge with accuracy in the completion of complex tests.
Problem-solving capability with the ability to assess accuracy of results.
Excellent attitude, and over all good communication and organizational skills.
Responsible, reliable, and possess a willingness to learn.
