Tink, Inc. , is currently seeking an individual to join our purchasing team. We are looking for a hard working candidate willing to learn our in-house inventory system. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to, negotiating sales with suppliers for buy out parts, and steel purchasing for our large manufacturing plant.
Tasks will change multiple times per day depending on the needs of the parts department. This is a office/warehouse environment, and the schedule is Monday thru Friday 7:30-4:30. Forklift experience is a plus, but Tink will train the right candidate.
Essential Functions
- Research/negotiate/determine best price for product purchases.
- Verify and maintain records and prepare items for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain proper inventory levels based on production demands.
- Assist manufacturing inventory coordinator with quarterly cycle counts.
- Assist with Parts Dept calls; process part orders from and ship.
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
- Negotiate and order large amounts of steel.
