Traveling Refrigeration Project Manager
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Refrigeration Project Manager to lead and oversee complex refrigeration installation and maintenance projects within the construction industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Base Pay: $65,000 - $95,000 / year based on experience
Additional Benefits:

Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of refrigeration projects, ensuring all phases align with project goals and client specifications
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project flow and communication
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively
- Prepare accurate construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools to establish budgets and resource allocations
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings—including Civil 3D models—to ensure accurate interpretation of project requirements
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to maintain compliance and control costs effectively
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety standards are upheld while maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking, documentation, reporting, and scheduling updates
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to design specifications
- Facilitate effective communication across all stakeholders through detailed project documentation and meetings
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on refrigeration or HVAC systems; prior experience on refrigeration projects is highly desirable
- Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, Bluebeam, ProCore, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other construction management software
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction estimating techniques
- Familiarity with project scheduling methodologies and construction site safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining clear communication among all project stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities related to refrigeration systems or similar mechanical installations
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, change management processes, and compliance standards

Sign-on bonus amounts may include the following:
- Helpers / Installers: Up to $1,000
- Refrigeration, Technicians, & Mid-Level Positions: Up to $1,500
- Superintendents, Foremen, & Project Managers: Up to $2,500
Payment Schedule
- $500.00 of the approved sign-on bonus will be paid after hire and completion of onboarding requirements
- The remaining amount will be paid after the employee successfully completes 90 days of employment in good standing
- Paid Time Off (PTO): Generous PTO package provided according to company policy, accruing based on your position and tenure.
- Holiday Pay Premium: Working on a holiday is sometimes required due to project schedules. If you work on a company-recognized holiday, you will receive time and a half (1.5x). Observed holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
- Supplemental Health Benefits: After 90 days, you are eligible to enroll in voluntary supplemental plans (Dental, Vision, Critical Illness, Short-Term Disability, Hospitalization, Accidental Injury, and Life Insurance). The Company contributes a $40/month allowance toward your premiums.
- Company Vehicle: A company-provided work vehicle and transportation logistics are supplied for project operations, typically assigned between 30 to 90 days of employment.
- Home Visit Stipend: After completing your 90-day probationary period, you become eligible for an additional travel stipend to support trips back home between project phases (up to 8 travel stipends allowed per calendar year).
- Our Growth Commitment: Full medical benefits are not currently offered, but as we rapidly expand, we are actively working toward introducing a comprehensive medical insurance package and additional employee support programs in the near future.
