As a Plumbing Service Technician, you are the face of our company — the trusted expert who ensures every customer receives an exceptional experience. You will follow our 12 Steps to the Ultimate Client Experience, ensuring each client feels valued, informed, and confident in the services provided.
When a job is complete, the area should be cleaner than when you arrived, and each client should walk away as a loyal fan, eager to refer APS to family and friends.
Qualifications
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
Skilled in identifying and selling service options
Confident in selling water heaters and water softeners
Journeyman’s License required
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Must have own hand tools and a valid driver’s license
Team player with excellent communication skills
Able to lift 80+ lbs and work in tight spaces
Schedule and Benefits
Full-time: Monday–Friday (40 hours per week)

What You Will Do
Diagnose and repair plumbing issues
Install and maintain water supply and drainage systems
Read blueprints and ensure code compliance
Repair fixtures and appliances (faucets, heaters, etc.)
Provide quotes and work directly with customers
Duties and Responsibilities
Service, repair, and replace plumbing systems and components
Offer clients 3–6 service options to meet comfort and safety needs
Maintain a clean work area and wear protective floor savers in homes
Test all systems after work to prevent callbacks
Clearly explain completed work and ensure client satisfaction
Accurately complete all paperwork (work orders, option sheets, etc.)
Attend company trainings and skill-building sessions
Maintain communication with customers, dispatch, and management
Keep company vehicles clean, stocked, and maintained
Ask for reviews and referrals from satisfied customers
