Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Operations to lead and optimize our organization’s core functions. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, drive process improvements, and implement scalable strategies that support our growth objectives. Your leadership will ensure operational excellence across departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies around order processing, inventory management, and customer onboarding/success that align with organizational goals and drive sustainable growth.
- Lead and supervise cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination, high performance, and accountability across all operational areas.
- Implement change management initiatives to adapt processes, systems, and organizational structures in response to evolving business needs.
- Drive process improvements by analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and deploying innovative solutions to increase productivity.
- Oversee project and program management efforts to ensure timely delivery of initiatives that support strategic priorities.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership, business development teams, and external partners, to foster collaboration and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management with a track record of leading teams and supervising staff effectively.
- Strong expertise in strategic planning, change management, and process improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability in international import and export business - including relationships with 3PL's, LTL carriers, and freight forwarders.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with experience in senior leadership roles; capable of inspiring teams and driving organizational change.
- Familiarity with program management tools and techniques to coordinate complex projects from inception through completion.
- Strong communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
