Be Well Dental care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in providing top-quality dental care to our patients. Our work days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and alternating Saturday half days. The salary range provided depends on your skills and experience. We prefer experience and also encourage applicants without experience who are interested in dentistry as a career to apply.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Take and develop dental X-rays in compliance with safety protocols.
- Record and update patient medical records, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients before, during, and after treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Assist in managing inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required; we welcome enthusiastic candidates willing to learn.
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, prosthodontics, and medical imaging systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with dental software for managing medical records is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
