Full-time | Monday–Friday | Day shift

What You’ll Do
- Provide excellent customer service to contractors, homeowners, and delivery drivers
- Pull, stage, and load customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Safely operate forklifts and other yard equipment to move materials
- Assist customers with locating and loading building materials
- Read and interpret order tickets to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Inspect materials for quality and verify quantities before loading
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
- Communicate with sales staff, drivers, and coworkers to keep orders on track
- Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures
- Support general yard and warehouse operations as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, retail yard, or construction environment preferred
- Forklift experience preferred (certification or willingness to obtain)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read order tickets and work with basic measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Dependable team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Work Environment
This is an active, outdoor role in a busy lumber yard. You’ll spend your day assisting customers, lifting and moving materials, operating equipment, and working in varying weather conditions.
