Job Summary
InVision Eye Care is seeking a dedicated and reliable Optometric Technician! Join our team where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering exceptional eye care. You will be responsible for assisting the optometrist, performing routine tests, and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care and ensuring a smooth flow of clinic operations. No prior eye care experience is required. We will train the right candidate! Currently hiring to Join our Clive Team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information: handle front desk duties such as scheduling appointments , coordinating/scheduling future appointments and answering patient inquiries.
- Collecting information about patients’ medical history and current symptoms.
- Conducting routine tests.
- Look up patient Vision insurance/Medical insurance information.
- Contact lens training and fitting: Train patients on how to insert and remove contact lenses and proper contact lens use/care.
- General disinfecting and cleaning.
Requirements
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient data entry.
- Strong customer service skills for front desk interactions and team collaboration.
- Availability to work Saturdays!
- High school diploma or equivalent
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
