American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level 1 trauma acute care setting, requiring 1+ years of experience and ARRT certification.

Acute care setting in a Level 1 trauma 640-bed facility
-
CT department has 5 GE brand CT scanners
-
12-hour night shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
-
36 guaranteed hours per week
-
No floating to other departments required
-
Every 3rd weekend rotation required
-
No call or standby requirements
-
No holiday coverage required
-
Uses EPIC EMR system
-
Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist required
-
Current ARRT and BLS certification required
-
IEMA certification required
-
Level 1 trauma experience required
-
Previous travel experience preferred

Must be able to perform basic CT scanning in a fast-paced, high-acuity, high-volume environment

Experience with GE CT scanners preferred

Must be able to start IVs
-
Active IL license required, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated

License required if applicable

Must be able to pass a drug screen for all panels as required by facility policy

Perform basic CT scanning duties in a high-acuity, high-volume Level 1 trauma department

Department orientation is typically 1 week, as needed

Solid color scrubs are acceptable, with some prints allowed
-
No radius rule applies, though local rate adjustments apply for candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility

COVID vaccination is not required for this facility
