Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color, highlights, and styling
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend personalized treatments
- Deliver exceptional customer service to build and maintain a loyal clientele
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and products
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation in compliance with salon standards
- Upsell retail hair care products and additional salon services
- Collaborate with fellow stylists to foster a positive and professional salon atmosphere
Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts Cosmetology License required
- Experience in cut, color, and styling techniques preferred
- Strong communication and client consultation skills
- Ability to build and retain a personal clientele base
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Passion for the beauty industry and ongoing education
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
