Clinically experienced healthcare professionals with a solid background in bedside patient care (3–5 years preferred)

For Analyst II roles: additional 2+ years in clinical or healthcare informatics

Current Louisiana license as a clinical professional

MT or MLT (Medical Lab Technician) certification required

Familiarity with personal computer use (2–3 years) including email and internet; PC hardware troubleshooting experience helpful

Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to educate clinical staff, evaluate and maintain clinical information systems, and serve as a liaison between departments

Support clinical information systems across the hospital network by planning, developing, training, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining systems to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.

Serve as a clinical liaison between the IS Department and Patient Care Areas

Educate clinical staff on Information System’s clinical applications

Assist clinical staff in troubleshooting and resolving system issues

Collaborate on development and distribution of communication to clinical users
-
Cross-train IS staff on clinical system functions
-
Partner with departments to assess enhancement/change requests; coordinate with IS staff for feasibility and outcome communication

Evaluate and support the implementation and maintenance of clinical programs/applications
-
Perform master file and table maintenance
-
Collaborate with internal/external experts to ensure system relevance and usability
-
Develop user training materials and conduct education sessions

Participate in application testing prior to go-live

Help establish efficient application security protocols

Stay current on emerging healthcare technologies

Fulfill additional duties as assigned
