Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks to ensure consistent quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of custodial staff, providing clear guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing work environment.
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols aligned with safety regulations and sanitation best practices to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Oversee industrial cleaning projects and commercial cleaning operations, ensuring thoroughness and efficiency in all tasks.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, optimizing resources while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to monitor cleanliness levels, safety compliance, and overall maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with management and staff to coordinate schedules, address issues promptly, and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial services, housekeeping management or related fields with a strong background in cleaning and sanitation management.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team supervision and leadership skills essential for motivating staff.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, sanitation procedures, and janitorial practices.
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for managerial interactions with staff and clients.
