Position Summary
McCabe Restoration, an Endurant Disaster Recovery company, is seeking an Emergency Services Specialist I - Contents to support the recovery and restoration of residential and commercial properties impacted by fire, water, storm, and other property losses. This role is responsible for assessing, documenting, packing, cleaning, and restoring affected contents while ensuring items are handled with care and professionalism throughout the recovery process.
Working closely with property owners, insurance representatives, and restoration teams, the Emergency Services Specialist I helps minimize property loss and accelerate recovery efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service during challenging situations, while maintaining safety, quality, and industry standards in every project.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Basic knowledge of contents restoration and emergency response procedures.

Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in challenging environments.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Contents Restoration or related emergency services (e.g., IICRC certification).

Experience working in emergency services or restoration within the construction industry.

Familiarity with insurance claim processes and documentation.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Training in OSHA safety standards and hazardous materials handling.
Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to emergency calls involving property contents affected by fire, water, mold, or other damages.

Conduct detailed assessments and inventories of damaged contents to determine restoration or replacement needs.

Coordinate and execute contents pack-out, cleaning, storage, and pack-back processes in accordance with industry best practices.

Maintain accurate documentation and reports for insurance claims and client communications.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all phases of emergency response and restoration.
Skills:
The required skills enable the specialist to effectively assess damage and execute restoration tasks with precision and care, ensuring client satisfaction and safety.
