Position Summary
As a Second Shift Front Desk Agent, you are one of the most important members of our team. You will greet guests, assist with reservations, perform check-ins and check-outs, answer guest questions, and help ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional stay from arrival to departure.
Second Shift Responsibilities (Typically 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Answer phone calls and make reservations
- Respond to guest questions and resolve concerns promptly
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately
- Maintain an organized and professional front desk area
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding guest needs
- Prepare for shift change and communicate important information to the overnight team
- Promote hotel amenities and local attractions
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every guest interaction
Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred (hotel experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable with excellent attendance
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to perform light cleaning and organizational tasks as needed
