Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct daily inspections of dining rooms, event spaces, and back-of-house/storage areas to verify cleanliness, safety, and adherence to Hyde Park standards.
- Train team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Oversee floor care activities including carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and other specialized treatments to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Order and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.
- Enforce health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, custodial work, and hazardous materials handling.
- Foster a positive work environment through coaching, motivation, and recognition of team achievements.
Key Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within a hospitality setting. Seeking candidates with an understanding of banquet/special event fine dining layouts, including tables and cutlery.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy supplies and standing for extended periods.
- Strong background in cleaning techniques, floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and janitorial practices.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety compliance.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
