Overview
A high-performing organisation within the technical services sector is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue growth across an assigned territory. This role is focused on new business acquisition, account expansion, and full ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
This position suits a commercially driven sales professional who is motivated by performance-based earnings, enjoys consultative selling, and is confident managing complex client relationships in a technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver against revenue, growth, and lead generation targets within a defined territory
- Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities alongside expanding existing accounts
- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships across key stakeholder groups
- Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, proposal development, and closing
- Produce quotes and proposals in coordination with internal technical and delivery teams
- Act as the primary client contact and ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and technical teams to scope and deliver solutions
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and activity tracking within CRM systems
- Execute structured territory plans to drive sustained revenue growth
- Maintain regular presence at client sites, laboratories, and field locations within the territory
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven success in a B2B sales or account management role
- Strong track record of prospecting and closing new business
- Consultative selling approach with ability to understand technical solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and LinkedIn for business development
- Background in energy, environmental, or technical services sectors is preferred
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is desirable, but not essential
Additional Information
- Field-based role with frequent regional travel (approximately 30%–50%)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
