Make an impact this summer supporting students in a school-based setting near Kingston, PA! Two contract roles are available for professionals skilled in either Occupational Therapy (OT) or Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). You'll work with a diverse K-12 caseload during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, fostering growth and learning for children across grade levels.
Position Details:
- Contract assignments with two openings: OT and SLP needed
- ESY dates: June 29th through August 6th
- Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8:45 AM – 12:15 PM
- K-12 student caseload, providing varied and engaging opportunities to make a difference
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification in Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Positive, adaptable, and passionate about student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted OT or SLP services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Assess students' needs and document progress consistently
- Participate actively in student support teams and contribute to classroom strategies
- Communicate clearly with families and staff regarding student goals and achievements
