Machine Operator – 1st Shift
Location: Montgomeryville
Duration: 4 Months
Job Summary:
Operate and set up specialized machinery used for finishing plastic cards and sheets while maintaining product quality and production standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and adjust production machinery.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary machine adjustments.
- Follow job specifications, SOPs, and production procedures.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Complete required paperwork and production data entry.
- Communicate production, quality, and maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Support 5S/continuous improvement activities and assist other operators as needed.
Requirements:
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills.
- Familiarity with hand tools and calipers.
- Ability to read and follow SOPs.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Safety shoes and PPE required.
