Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement or English as a New Language (ENL) endorsement
- Spanish, French, German language proficiency preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of and expertise with various models of quality instruction techniques
- Experience in research-based instructional practices and student-centered learning
- Possess strong classroom management and relationship building skills
- Demonstrate a passion for language learning, cultural exploration, and working with middle school students
Minimum Experience:
- Preferred teaching experience
