JOB SUMMARY: The Group Facilitator is responsible for the overall preparation and facilitation of quality IPAEP groups. S/he will display and encourage the character traits of honesty, respect, caring and responsibility in the fulfillment of all job duties.
Program/Department Responsibility:
- Facilitate IPAEP groups as assigned
- Ensure that all groups are in compliance with approved curriculum
- Ensure that all groups are consistent with DPH, and IPAEP standards, policies and procedures
- Complete client assessments
- Make necessary referrals to outside agencies or departments as needed.
- Participate in scheduled supervision and other IPAEP meetings as assigned.
- Maintain and file client data and information as assigned
- Complete monthly client report
- Attend IPAEP meetings as assigned.
- Attend the OCC meetings as assigned.
- Actively participate in the Y's Annual Strong Kid's campaign.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Good oral and written presentation skills
- Experience working with adults, at-risk populations, or offenders is helpful
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point
- Successful completion of a minimum of 24 hours of DPH-approved IPAEP training
- Observation of at least 6 hours of IPAEP group sessions from a DPH-approved training program
- Successful completion of a domestic violence victim service agency training as defined by MGL. Ch 233, 20K
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend and walk during the work day
