Job Summary
The Property Manager is responsible for the overall operations, leasing performance, resident relations, financial management, and maintenance oversight of the community. This position ensures the property is maintained to company standards while providing excellent customer service to current and prospective residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the property.
- Manage leasing activities, including tours, applications, approvals, renewals, and move-ins.
- Maintain high occupancy levels and achieve leasing goals.
- Supervise onsite staff, including leasing, maintenance, and housekeeping personnel.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance requests and property inspections.
- Monitor property budgets, expenses, rent collections, and delinquency reports.
- Enforce lease agreements, community policies, and company procedures.
- Address resident concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
- Coordinate vendor services, contracts, and property improvement projects.
- Prepare and submit required reports to regional management.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local housing regulations.
- Conduct regular property walks to maintain curb appeal and identify maintenance needs.
- Assist with marketing initiatives and resident retention programs.
Qualifications:
- Previous property management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
- Experience with property management software preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk the property regularly and climb stairs as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
The Property Manager plays a critical role in maximizing property performance, maintaining resident satisfaction, and ensuring the success of the community.
Pay: $49,300.81 - $59,373.02 per year
