Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Roofing Subcontractors to join our dynamic construction team. As a Roofing Subcontractor, you will be responsible for executing high-quality roofing projects, including installation, repair, and restoration of various roofing systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial buildings, utilizing your expertise in roofing and related construction trades. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain a variety of roofing systems such as single-ply membrane roofing, metal roofing, and traditional shingles.
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of roofing projects.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete roofing tasks.
- Perform siding installation, stucco work, caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry as needed for comprehensive roof-related projects.
- Adhere strictly to construction safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses, proper ladder use, heavy lifting techniques, and overall workplace safety protocols.
- Conduct roofing repairs and restoration work with attention to detail while ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to interpret technical drawings and schematics for seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, or restoration within a construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials such as metal roofing, single-ply membranes, shingles, and related systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints.
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including the proper use of safety harnesses and ladder safety practices.
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions on construction sites.
- Additional skills in siding installation, stucco application, masonry work, plumbing integration, or tile laying are a plus.
