I am looking for a reliable, local person in the Chardon area who is interested in very part-time handyman and property helper work.
This is not a full-time position and the hours will vary from week to week. Some weeks may only be 2 hours, while other weeks may be 4 to 6 hours. Occasionally, a larger project may come up that could require more time.
This would be a good fit for someone who is handy, dependable, lives nearby, and is looking to make some extra money helping with basic property maintenance and small tasks.
Type of Work
The work will include basic handyman, property maintenance, and general cleanup items. Most tasks are simple and do not require a licensed contractor.
Duties may include:
- Picking up trash around properties
- Basic cleaning
- Spraying weeds
- Basic painting or touch-up work
- Tightening doors, handles, latches, or other small items
- Light maintenance repairs
- Helping keep the property clean and presentable
- Checking on the property a few times per week
- Notifying me of anything that looks damaged, broken, unsafe, or out of place
- Helping with small projects as needed
Schedule
The schedule is flexible, someone who can stop by 2 to 3 times per week as needed.
This could be a great fit for someone who is retired, semi-retired, self-employed, working part-time, or simply looking for some extra side work close to home.
