Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Spanish-English Interpreter based in Montgomery, Alabama. This is a contract-based position for individuals who are fluent in both languages and capable of providing interpretation services in a variety of settings, including medical appointments, phone calls, and occasional legal assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate Spanish-English interpretation for medical appointments (in-person)
- Assist with over-the-phone interpretation when needed
- Support occasional legal or administrative interpretation services
- Ensure clear and culturally appropriate communication between parties
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Requirements:
- Must currently reside in Montgomery, Alabama or nearby 15 minutes by car. (mandatory)
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Prior experience as an interpreter or certification in interpretation (preferred)
- Ability to travel independently to appointment locations
- Availability to travel to nearby cities within a maximum radius of 1 hour 30 minutes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

- This is a contract position (not part-time or full-time employment)
