Position Summary
Solace Clinical Research is seeking a highly organized and experienced Finance & Operations Manager to oversee the daily financial operations of our clinical research organization. This individual will be responsible for accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, payroll coordination, contract administration, invoicing, collections, and operational support. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, technology savvy, and comfortable working in a fast paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage company accounting using QuickBooks.
- Prepare and analyze monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Generate invoices, monitor aging reports, and lead collections efforts.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Coordinate payroll processing and ensure compliance
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
- Review, negotiate, and track vendor, service, and client contracts.
- Maintain financial records and prepare documentation for external accountants and auditors.
- Develop financial dashboards and KPI reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and AI tools.
- Support executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic decision making.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
- Advanced QuickBooks experience required.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and general accounting principles.
- Experience with payroll administration.
- Experience with invoicing and collections.
- Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
- Excellent computer and technology proficiency.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Strong organizational and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
