Behavioral Health Therapist will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to our Asian
communities. The role provides therapy (individual, group, family, couple) to clients with a variety
of mental health concerns, and serves as case manager for a caseload of clients. Works closely with
other members of the treatment team, including psychiatrists and community health workers, to
provide comprehensive care to clients. The therapist will apply Feedback-Informed Treatment (FIT)
to strengthen engagement and enhance the ongoing quality and effectiveness of care. Role
includes an opportunity to become CGAC certified (Certified Gambling Addiction Counselor).
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide therapy to individuals, groups, families, or couples addressing various mental health
concerns.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor client progress, adjusting plans as
needed.
- Engage in Feedback-Informed Treatment (FIT) training and supervision, apply FIT tools to inform
clinical decision-making, and promote a culture of feedback and continuous learning.
- Act as a case manager, coordinating care with psychiatrists, social workers, and external
providers.
- Offer crisis intervention and support to clients.
- Maintain accurate client records in compliance with agency policies.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development.
Qualifications: Current licensure as a behavioral health therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) OR
ability to obtain QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) certification (Please refer to
Certifications - MHACBO for more information). Bilingual in English and either Korean,
Cantonese/Mandarin or Vietnamese
Pay Range: $28 - $36 per hour.
