Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through OpenTable or other reservation systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
- Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure complete satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, food handling, and basic math for accurate check processing
- Experience with culinary operations or kitchen support is a plus for better understanding of food preparation processes
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
