After-School Creator Studio Instructor (Video Production & AI) – Grades 6–8
We're hiring an enthusiastic After-School Creator Studio Instructor to lead an exciting Video Production & AI enrichment program for middle school students (Grades 6–8).
In this hands-on course, students learn how to create engaging digital content using video production tools and age-appropriate AI technologies. They will explore storytelling, filming, editing, visual design, and responsible AI use while creating fun, creative projects.
No curriculum development is required. All lesson plans, training, equipment, and instructional materials are fully provided.

This is a part-time position working one afternoon per week, with opportunities for additional classes based on availability.
Responsibilities
As an instructor, you will:
- Lead engaging, hands-on Creator Studio lessons
- Teach students the fundamentals of video production and digital storytelling
- Introduce students to beginner-friendly AI tools for creative projects
- Guide students through filming, editing, and publishing age-appropriate content
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking
- Maintain a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment
- Communicate attendance and brief class updates to the program coordinator
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, camps, or youth programs)
- Interest or experience in video creation, digital media, content creation, or multimedia
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Adobe Express AI, or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- An energetic, dependable, patient, and encouraging personality
- Reliable transportation to the assigned school site
Requirements
- Must successfully complete a Live Scan background check and TB test (paid by the employer)
