HVAC Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of commercial HVAC projects, including new installations, equipment replacements, and system retrofits

Develop detailed project estimates, take-offs, and proposals for HVAC scopes of work

Review plans and specifications to determine project requirements, materials, and labor needs

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field technicians to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle

Monitor project budgets, track costs, and report on job profitability

Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, permits, and safety regulations
-
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work

Prepare change orders and manage scope adjustments as needed

Collaborate with the sales and estimating teams on new business opportunities
Job Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in HVAC project management, construction management, or a related field

Prior experience with HVAC estimating and bid preparation strongly preferred

Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices

Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and safety standards

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Strong communication and client-facing skills

Proficiency with project management and estimating software
