Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Prepare food items following safety and sanitation standards, including basic food handling and kitchen procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
- Assist with food preparation tasks in the café or quick service environment to ensure timely service
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
- Engage in food industry best practices related to serving, sanitation, and food safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, cashiering, and upselling
