Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare the workspace by cleaning, organizing, and setting up kitchen equipment and food stations for the day ahead
- Receive and process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including assembling ingredients and maintaining food safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food production needs
- Manage customer orders with promptness and professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety protocols
- Restock supplies and ensure all food handling procedures are followed meticulously for quality assurance
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or café environments
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy opening hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to serving guests
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety management, and proper food handling procedures
