Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Garage Door Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and related systems across various residential sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of garage doors, contributing to the security and convenience of our clients. Duties
- Install new garage doors, including framing, door hanging, and fixture installation using hand tools and power tools
- Perform repairs on malfunctioning garage doors, including replacing broken springs, cables, rollers, and hinges
- Conduct routine maintenance such as lubrication, calibration, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance
- Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components when necessary
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety standards during installation and repair processes
Experience
- Proven experience in garage door installation or repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to door mechanisms, metal stud framing, carpentry, and electrical systems
- Skilled in operating hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills; power tools including saws and grinders
- Familiarity with electrical wiring for automated garage doors or related systems is a plus

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
