Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and electrical systems to restore vehicle performance.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic problems.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations with precision.
- Repair or replace components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive tools.
Skills
- Dealership experience or service technician experience demonstrating a strong foundation in automotive repair.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics.
- Skilled in working with Hyundai vehicles or similar makes with a focus on engine, electrical, and recalls.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair machinery.
- Ability to perform vehicle alignment procedures accurately to manufacturer specifications.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills for complex repairs.
- Exceptional communication skills to explain and document technical issues clearly.
