Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Inventory Supervisor to oversee inventory control operations and support warehouse activities within a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (required) and a proven track record of maintaining inventory accuracy, managing warehouse processes, and supporting daily logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily inventory control activities, including receiving, put-away, transfers, allocations, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system inventory matches physical inventory.
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to manage inventory transactions, monitor stock levels, investigate discrepancies, and generate reports.
- Coordinate and oversee cycle count programs and annual physical inventory counts.
- Monitor inventory movements and ensure timely and accurate processing of receipts, transfers, returns, and shipments.
- Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
- Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory flow and order fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Train and support warehouse personnel on inventory processes and system transactions.
- Prepare inventory reports, KPI metrics, and operational analyses for management.
- Ensure warehouse organization and proper product storage to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management and warehouse operations.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 1 year of inventory control, warehouse, or logistics experience in a distribution environment.
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 for inventory management (required).
- Experience with allocations, cycle counts, receiving, transfers, inventory adjustments, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
- Experience with barcode scanning systems and warehouse management systems.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
