As a Lighting Engineer, you will be instrumental in the creation, evolution, and refinement of commercial lighting solutions, with a primary focus on LED technology and integrated control systems.
Key Duties

Create and engineer LED luminaires tailored for industrial and commercial environments.

Collaborate across departments including sales, product management, and manufacturing to shepherd products from initial ideas to full-scale production.

Execute validation tasks for electrical designs, thermal management, and photometric analysis.

Assist with projects driven by specific requirements and bespoke product inquiries.

Help maintain compliance with essential energy codes and industry certifications like UL and DLC to ensure product quality.

Drive ongoing innovation in areas such as human-centric lighting, efficiency, and advanced controls.

Identify and resolve technical issues to enhance the performance of current product offerings.
Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable discipline.

Proven background in electrical product design, LED systems, or the lighting industry.

Deep understanding of power systems, LED drivers, and control mechanisms.

Familiarity with lighting layouts and photometrics, with proficiency in tools like AGi32 being advantageous.
