Center Associate – The UPS Store | Mint Hill, NC
The UPS Store in Mint Hill is hiring a full-time Center Associate!
This is a customer-facing retail position — not a UPS driver position. We’re looking for a dependable, energetic self-starter who enjoys helping people, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working independently.
What You’ll Do
- Provide excellent customer service and assess customer needs
- Process UPS and USPS shipments and transactions
- Pack and prepare items for shipping using appropriate materials
- Operate the store independently, including opening and closing
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash management
- Assist customers with printing, copying, scanning, and other print services
- Provide basic technical and design assistance for printing projects
- Accept and distribute mail for mailbox customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store appearance
- Lift packages weighing 50+ pounds
- Perform other duties related to daily store operations
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong customer-service mindset
- Ability to multitask and quickly assess customer needs
- Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Retail or customer-service experience preferred
- Print production or graphic design experience is a plus
- NC Notary Public certification is a plus
- Print/shipping experience is helpful, but training is available
Schedule
Full-time | 11:00 AM–7:00 PM - Monday through Friday
Rotating Weekends as needed.
Our store hours are:
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
