Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
Job Description
Global Chemicals Corporation (www.globalchemicalscorp.com) is actively looking for outgoing, energetic, hard-working and financially motivated candidates to fill in entry level to experienced sales and business development roles for pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosages. Successful candidates will be responsible for promoting our portfolio of products that are designed to meet the needs of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries in the United States. As a member of our sales and business development team, the representative will develop relationships with prospective manufacturing customers and maintain existing accounts and engage them in learning more about our new product lines, specialties and our custom blending, compounding, processing and packaging capabilities.
The ideal candidate should be excited to learn more about pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sciences and technologies and motivated to read and grasp the latest news, articles and research reports about our industries.
Job Location: East Brunswick, New Jersey (On-Site)
Objectives of this role
· Meet sales targets and increase sales figures year over year
· Develop strong relationships with manufacturing and packaging companies and their executives and staff members and earn their repeat business
· Increase the number of accounts across an assigned territory and industry segment
· Shape our brand positioning and messaging in a way that’s consistent with marketing strategy
· Learn about the competition in the market and consistently rise above average through effective sales strategies and tactics and exemplary service to existing and new accounts
Responsibilities
· Constant outreach to prospective customers in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical and related industries
· Meet with current and prospective clients to identify their needs and present new/relevant products
· Reach or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
· Log client contacts, meetings/calls, and sales conversations in the appropriate database
Required skills and qualifications
· Five or more years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or nutraceutical sales
· Working knowledge of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sciences and manufacturing technologies
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Commitment to upholding our company’s ethical standards
Preferred skills and qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in organic chemistry, medical, nutritional and pharmaceutical sciences
· Experience with CRM and ERP system(s)
· Network of contacts within pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $34.22 per hour
