Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage selections in a quick-service setting
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Prepare simple food items following safety and sanitation standards, including food handling and bussing duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, ensuring accurate math and register balances
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including sanitation of surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Support food safety management practices by adhering to health regulations and proper food handling procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Background in food preparation, food service, or the food industry is a plus
- Retail sales transactions experience, including cashiering and upselling techniques
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling
- Experience working in a café or grocery store setting is beneficial
