Job Summary
Zdrilich Injury Law, LLC is seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Personal Injury Settlement Clerk to join our team. This position is essential to managing the final settlement and disbursement of a case. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous approach to financial and legal documentation.
Responsibilities
Settlement & Liens:
- Assist the attorney in the settlement process, including negotiating reductions with medical providers and third-party lien holders (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, health insurance).
- Prepare detailed settlement statements and breakdowns for client review and attorney approval.
- Coordinate the signing of all settlement documents and releases.
- Process settlement disbursements accurately and in a timely manner.
Administrative & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all case activity in the case management software.
- Organize and manage both physical and electronic client files.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and other correspondence.
- Assist with any administrative duties to support the attorneys and paralegals as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 3-4years of verifiable experience in a personal injury law firm as a case manager, paralegal, or settlement clerk.
- Proven experience with a focus on settlement preparation and lien negotiation is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury case management principles and terminology.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal case management software (e.g., Neos, MyCase, Needles) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a heavy caseload efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
