As a Hair Stylist/Barber, you will be the creative force behind your clients’ beauty transformations, delivering exceptional hair styling, coloring, and grooming services. Your expertise will help clients look and feel their best while providing outstanding customer service in a lively, welcoming environment. This Booth renter position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills, grow your career, and build lasting client relationships. Booth rental position is $200.00 a week. Keep 100% of your service income and tips.
Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, and special occasion styles to meet each client’s unique preferences.
- Perform hair coloring techniques using advanced color theory principles to achieve desired shades and effects.
- Use salon software such as Square to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations regularly to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to boost client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge on hair techniques, customer service excellence, and salon operations.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry.
- Proficiency in salon software systems like Square for appointment booking and client management.
- Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques, hair care products, and retail math for upselling opportunities.
- Skilled in various hair styling methods including blowouts, cutting, and coloring.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and personalized service delivery.
- Ability to maintain high sanitation standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
