Duties
- Provide a wide range of beauty services including hair styling, coloring, and hair cutting.
- Execute professional haircuts for all genders.
- Educate clients on proper product use, and retail options to enhance their beauty regimen.
- Upsell retail products and services confidently by understanding customer needs.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized work environment following all disinfection procedures and sanitation standards.
- Stay current with industry trends in color theory, new techniques like hair styling innovations.
- Build lasting client relationships through excellent customer service and personalized consultations.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of services performed.
- Knowledge of color theory and advanced hair coloring techniques.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and safety protocols in a salon environment.
- Skills in nail care, hair styling, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and hair threading are essential.
- Ability to perform esthetic laser treatments and dermabrasion is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Retail sales experience coupled with retail math knowledge to promote products effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a lively attitude that creates a positive client experience.
