Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including casual dining, fine dining, catering, and bar services
- Support staff training initiatives to uphold food safety, customer service excellence, and operational procedures
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency and adherence to safety standards
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction strategies
- Supervise shift management activities such as scheduling, cash handling, POS system operations (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and ensuring smooth service flow
- Lead team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment
- Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food production and catering events while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management with a strong background in managing hospitality teams
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety protocols
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Demonstrated ability in supervising staff training, team leadership, and managing restaurant operations effectively
- Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost management strategies
- Excellent communication skills for managerial conversations, staff interviews, and customer interactions
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities including shift management, food safety compliance, and customer service excellence
- Experience in casual dining or fine dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and financial reconciliation; proficiency in managing hospitality teams with a focus on food safety standards

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
