Must have minimum of 60 college credits in order to apply for Michigan sub permit; Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Some prior experience working with K-12 students in educational settings, required.
- Availability for school day (7am-4pm)
- An individual with a genuine enthusiasm for working with children and youth along with alignment to our mission of supporting workers, students, and schools while promoting academic success.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with teachers, students, and school staff.
Ability to quickly adapt to varying classroom environments, student needs, and instructional approaches.

PLEASE NOTE: Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position. Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training. Hourly range is $24-32 (including milestone bonuses based on number of assignments worked and can increase based on demand)
