Roger & Rae Distributing is a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground and Home Delivery serving the Boise Area. We are a team and family-oriented company looking for drivers to safely and efficiently deliver FedEx packages.
ABOUT YOU
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Experience equal to 12 months within 3 years OR 5 years within 10 yearsoperating a commercial vehicle is extremely helpful but not required. For example: Pizza delivery, Uber/Lyft, food delivery, mail delivery, parcel delivery, real estate, home healthcare, etc. A CDL is not required. If you got paid to drive, you qualify. (Qualified individuals that don't have the necessary commercial driving experience may qualify for our entry level driver training program)
· Stellar driving record and possession of a valid driver’s license and social security card
· Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
· Must have own cell phone.
· Must be able to pass DOT physical as well as a drug screen and criminal background check
· Ability to lift and carry packages up to and greater than 75lbs
· Must be extremely safety conscious
· Have exceptional customer service skills and a strong work ethic
· Should be self-motivated, with strong problem-solving ability, and have exceptional time management skills
THE JOB
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals who have an entrepreneurial spirit. This position is a very fast paced, physical job dealing with packages of various sizes and weights. We pick up and deliver packages on time every time regardless of the weather or traffic, meeting the delivery expectations of our customers with a smile.
We need reliable, hard-working people with a good customer service attitude. We are seeking part-timers, weekend warriors, and full-time drivers. We now operate 7 days a week and need drivers to fill a variety of schedules. The part-time position could turn into a full-time permanent position, depending on performance and business needs.
In your role as a FedEx driver, you would report to the FedEx Ground Terminal, where you will load your truck, deliver and pick up packages from residential and businesses that sometimes can weigh up to 150lbs, with the use of a hand truck, before returning the truck to the terminal at day's end. Your responsibilities include: scanning, delivering/picking up packages, pre and post trip vehicle inspection daily, and superior customer service.

We are currently hiring for two Monday - Friday positions.
