Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead our job sites and crews. This role is responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring projects stay on schedule, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate carpentry crews on-site
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Plan daily tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Train, mentor, and support crew members
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Monitor materials, tools, and equipment usage
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of carpentry experience (foreman or leadership experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to bend, crouch, and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA-30 certification
- Experience with leading construction crews
- Bilingual (not required)
