We are hiring a Field and Logistics Supervisor to lead our DFW operations.
Job Overview
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing field installation teams and warehouse operations to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely solar project delivery. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader who excels at both field execution and logistics efficiency, driving operational excellence across residential and light commercial installations.
Key Responsibilities
Field Supervision & Operations
- Lead, coach, and develop internal installation crews and approved subcontractors to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Plan, schedule, and execute solar installation and service projects, including daily work order assignment and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site visits for quality control, technical troubleshooting, safety audits, and hands-on support when needed (including occasional installations or electrical work during peak periods or staff absences).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with SolarEdge, Enphase, Tesla Powerwall, FoxESS, and related battery/storage systems.
- Partner closely with Project Coordinators, Field Services electricians, and management to maintain strong project momentum and customer satisfaction.
- Champion a safety-first culture through daily briefings, enforcement of protocols, and proactive risk mitigation.
Warehouse & Logistics Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, material staging, tool/equipment readiness, and workflow optimization using inventory system.
- Ensure accurate tracking of materials, minimize waste, and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels for field crews.
- Implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support scalable growth.
Additional Responsibilities
- Address customer and internal escalations professionally and promptly.
- Stay current with solar technology advancements, code requirements, and industry best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support company objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in solar PV installation, electrical work, or renewable energy construction, with 2–3+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong technical expertise with SolarEdge, Enphase microinverters, Tesla Powerwall (or equivalent battery systems), and associated troubleshooting/repair.
- Experience with warehouse/inventory management systems (Fishbowl preferred).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive performance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid Texas driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Physical capability to perform field work (lifting, climbing ladders, working at heights).
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- NABCEP certification or Journeyman Electrician license a plus.
